Friends and family of General Stephen M.Twitty will be holding a Street Dedication Ceremony in Honor of General Twitty on Sunday April 11 at 3 pm at Chesnee High School. A Stretch of Scenic Hwy. 11 From the city limits of Chesnee East of Chesnee going to Parris bridge Rd. will be dedicated to General Twitty. The public is invited to attend as long as seating permits. The unveiling of the sign will be at 1:30 at the Chesnee City limits sign on Hwy 11 East.

We at Chesnee.net want to tell General Twitty that we are very proud of him. We wish him and his wife Karen and their daughters, Ashley and Brook, many blessings.

The ceremony and reception was so nice! Mr. Bobby Twitty,General Twitty's Dad, said that it took about seven years of work to make this happen. He named many people that helped along the way. We want to thank that group of people for giving a chance to be a part of this honor to General Twitty.
